XMAS Blogger Theme – Christmas Special

It’s being longtime since i have ripped a blogger template. Some of my readers were asking for blogger template for Christmas via twitter and gtalk. Luckily today Smashingmagazine also released a WordPress theme for their site readers. That wordpress Xmas theme was originally developed by site5. So my friend fromBloggerthemes and I decided to rip it for blogger users as soon as possible and we are successful in finishing it within 1 hour.

Theme Features

Here are some of the features of the theme:

CSS-based layout,
2 columns of fixed width,
widget-ready,
XHTML 1.0 Transitional valid,
multi-browser compatibility: tested on Firefox, Safari , IE7, IE8, Chrome,
built in search box widget in sidebar.

Installation instructions for Newbies

1. Download your Blogger XML Theme
The theme is contained in a zip file (winzip, winrar), ensure you have extracted the XML theme.
2. Log in to your Blogger dashboard and go to Layout > Edit HTML
3. Ensure you back up your old theme in case you decide to use it again. To do this, click on the “download full theme” link and save the file to your hard drive.
4. Look for the section near the top where you can browse for your XML theme:
5. Enter the location of your theme and press “upload”.
6. The HTML of your new theme will now appear in the box below. You can preview your theme or simply save to start using it!
7. Enjoy!
